Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM CDT
Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist (RT) for a PRN assignment with LCMC Health – LCMC West Jefferson in Marrero, Louisiana.
The ideal candidate will provide respiratory care, monitor patient conditions, deliver prescribed respiratory treatments, and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective patient care.
Responsibilities

Perform respiratory assessments and monitor patients' conditions.

Provide prescribed respiratory treatments and oxygen therapy.

Manage respiratory care equipment according to clinical protocols.

Monitor treatment effectiveness and communicate changes to the care team.

Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.

Follow established infection-control and safety procedures.
Qualifications

Appropriate Respiratory Therapist credentials and applicable state licensure.

Relevant respiratory therapy experience.

Required certifications according to facility policy.

Strong communication, assessment, and critical-thinking skills.

Ability to work night shifts.
Schedule
Night shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM CDT, with a 30-minute break.
